Hi, and welcome to the unofficial site of 104, Irish guards detachment. We accept boys and girls from the age of 13 to 16. If you are over 16 and still wanting to join the cadet force , there is usualy no problem, the age limit is 18 years of age.
We are located in Hayes in Kent. If you have any problems finding your way here, then please e-mail me, and i will give you full and detailed instructions.

Who are we?
104 (Hayes) Platoon is the most rural in B Company. They are situated on the edges of Hayes Common. The facilities at Hayes are largely self built and include a climbing wall, small air rifle range and large wooded area for fieldcraft training.

104 is badged to the Irish Guards. This is one of the Regiments of Foot Guards that produce such an impressive display at Trooping the Colour. The Irish Guards are in Germany at present and as such can not give the level of support that other units get until they are brought back to England.

The recruiting area is very large and extends out to the Kent borders. 104 is now ABLE to accept female recruits. They are currently under-strength and 13 - 18 year olds from Hayes, West Wickham, Spring Park, Keston, Eden Park, Farnborough and Biggin Hill areas are always welcome.

We do so much activities that, you only be able to in cadets , plus it's cheap!
For example a week in wales is for just 50 pounds which included mountain biking, canoeing, food, accomindation, transort, swimming, camping,dr slope skieng, hiking, shooting, climbing, and may activities.

Don't be afraid to phone up or just come down, we are very friendly i promise!
